The Boonies, 775-572-3233. The menu is pretty simple but the food is quite good. There’s even a chicken salad. Every now and then you can find live music outside, and the hours are typically from 4pm-8pm.

The Esmeralda Market, 775 572 3200, has a small cafe inside, usually open 10-3, Monday through Saturday.

Groceries

There is a small selection of fresh and shelf-stable food at the Esmeralda Market. While they probably don’t have exactly what you need, you can certainly make meals happen with what’s in stock. During the harvest seasons there is also a small farmer’s market next to the store on Saturdays. Call the store to confirm before you make the trip.

There’s also a Raley’s in Tonopah, which also has a pharmacy. 95 and US Air Force Road, Tonopah, NV.

For larger grocery runs, the closest supermarket is in Bishop, CA. There you will find a Rite-Aid, Vons, and Smart & Final.
